Bridging the GAP
for the Uninsured
Providing access to health care for the
low income and uninsured.
Welcome to Cape Fear HealthNet!
Providing access to health care for the low income and uninsured
About Us
Whether you are an uninsured person needing access to health care, a medical professional who would like to donate services, a healthcare organization that would like to participate, or a community member who can provide volunteer or financial support – Cape Fear HealthNet wants to work with you. According to the US Census Bureau American Community Survey of 2020, 24,000 adults in the Cape Fear region lacked health insurance.
This means that people in the communities we serve - friends, family, co-workers, neighbors – have no health insurance and can’t afford medical care.
Our Mission
The mission of Cape Fear HealthNet is to connect Cape Fear region residents with low or no income to coordinated, quality and affordable healthcare resulting in a better, healthier quality of life.
Our vision is a healthy community with access to quality healthcare for all.
